Confession: 

When playing DA for the very first time, and in romancing Alistair- I realized how lonely and broken I truly was. It seems really stupid…but the way he’d talk to my character, the way he’d care for her, it hit me that I wasn’t in a healthy romantic relationship in real life. I’d be in school only to be desperate to be back at home playing again. I’d be with my then ‘boyfriend’ and ache to be gifting things to my video game love interest. I ended up breaking it off with my bf over this game.

I realized the best description of Morrigan in DA:I – That one white friend who took an Indigenous Studies course and now wants to debate the ‘real meaning’ of your peoples’ stories all the time

Morrigan: And so because in this one story this Dalish monster saves a family because of the kindness the woman showed it, this must mean the real problem was people not accepting the monster in their society, that created the monster

Lavellan: It fucking eats people Morrigan

Morrigan: I’m not a historian but who’s to say what the exchange of culture looked like a hundred years ago between the Chantry and the City Elves?
