Off camera, we dont see this and it makes me want to cryย but it also does a number on my ovaries, because its my new fave solas look (even tho its a threatening one) Look at this shit we miss!

He storms right upto the guy who killed his friend, and then proceeds to loom over him , cool cold and collected, hands clenched, & I cant explain that look.. but its a side we see little from him. Theres no warmth there. Theres just โ€œyouโ€™re fuckedโ€.

Solas: Purple, or purple?

Mage: What?

Solas: *punches mage in face*

To answer an anon ask:ย SKETCH PROMPTS! Forehead kisses with our beloved Egg. Bonus if any of the following happen. A) it is a sad scene, someone is crying. B) it is a funny scene, someone did a goof at Halamshiral or set their coat on fire.

Sorry this took a while anon. ย I didnโ€™t do B but I did get the sad kiss in the top corner, him visiting her post-trespasser, sneaky egg. ย Also blushie smooches and passionate smooches. ๐Ÿ˜‰

kallielef:

For a while Iโ€™ve wanted to dedicate another piece to my solavellan child Senโ€™aras and Abelas, and yesterday I was greatly inspired after hearing thisย amazing waltz. It screamed court intrigue for me. Abelas and Senโ€™s relationship is not well received by Solas, as he looms behind curtains and sees the unveiling of more than just a dance between friends. I could draw pages upon pages of my story for these two, sigh.ย

Flemethโ€™s incredibly complex plans hurt my head

roguelioness:

Thereโ€™s something that bothers me about Morriganโ€™s quest during Broken Circle.

She says that Flemethย โ€œlostโ€ her grimoire to templars, and that it was the first [and only? I canโ€™t remember the exact line] time Flemeth had beenย โ€œbested.โ€

Apparently, Flemeth was in a rage over the whole matter, which got Morrigan intrigued.

Anyone else thing there were just tooย many coincidences?

1. Flemeth neverย loses stuff. Ever. I mean, she predicted the possibility of her own deathย and prepared for it [having Hawke carry the amulet out to Kirkwall].

2. Flemeth knows how curious Morrigan can be – in the right circumstances.

3. The grimoire has sensitive information about how Flemethย โ€œprolonged her lifeโ€ – which is something she would neverย let out of her sight, and certainly not if just any random mage could decipher the spells/writing in there.

Flemeth set Morrigan up beautifully.

Step 1:ย โ€œLoseโ€ grimoire to templars, and make sure it ends up at the Circle [Iโ€™m sure she would have].

Step 2: Throw a fit over it, enough to pique Morriganโ€™s curiosity.

Step 3: [Seeing as she had the Grey Warden treaties, she knew what they consisted, had guessed Loghainโ€™s betrayal, and saved the only survivor of the Great-Dragon-Blood consisting Theirin line] Sends Morrigan with the Warden knowing that a)โ€the thing most precious to [her]โ€ will have a chance to locate and study theย โ€˜falseโ€™ grimoire, and b)have a chance to perform the Dark Ritual, thereby preserving Urthemielโ€™s power.

Why the elaborate plans, you might wonder [or not, really, since this is Flemethย weโ€™re talking about after all].

1. She does/did intend Morrigan as Mythalโ€™s next vessel. Getting Morrigan to read the first grimoire gave her more knowledge, enough for Morrigan to seek out Flemethโ€™s trueย grimoire, which would have given Morrigan even more power.

2. Morrigan undergoing the dark ritual would have given her [Morrigan, not Flemeth] access to stillย more power (via Kieran and Urthemiel); and if it was Alistair who performed the ritual, not only does Kieran have Theirin blood in him [which is quite powerful!] but also Urthemielโ€™s soul.

Thus Mythal would have had access to a greatย deal of power – not just Morrigan herself, accomplished witch as she is, but also (potentially) through the Theirin line and Urthemiel.

Picture that scene at the end of Inquisition, where Flemeth passes something into the eluvian.

Now picture Morrigan, who has been using eluvians for a long time, accidentally stumbling across it. Morriganโ€™s smart, and powerful, and she has the means to unlock it. Especially if Morrigan drank from the Well.

Maybe thereโ€™s a geas on the eluvian. Maybe when Morrigan unlocks it, she inadvertently allows Mythal to possess her. Maybe itโ€™s not justย Mythal at that pont, but a Very Angry Mythal who has Urthemielโ€™s power.

(Remember – Flemeth saidย โ€œa soul is not forced on the UNWILLINGโ€ but she never said anything about theย unsuspecting)

And itโ€™s not just that.ย

Any Inquisitor who drank from the Well is at risk, too. The geas could push them to accept Mythalโ€™s soul, maybe without them even realizing what theyโ€™re doing (especially after Trespasser, when the Inquisitor has none of Solasโ€™ magic in them, when the Well/Mythal is truly free to use the Inquisitor as they will).

Which leads me to wonder: What if, in DA4, the Inquisitor [or Morrigan] isnโ€™t the protagonist [or in league with the protagonist] but is an antagonistย instead?

What if one of the very first main quests you have to do as the main character is to saveย the Inquisitor/Morrigan, so that you can have them join your companions/advisors?

I CANโ€™T WAIT FOR DA4 DAMMIT.ย
