Because the point of her existence is to make up new shit about the Dalish in order to make templars seem more necessary.
Before DA:I, we have heard nothing but the love and respect Dalish have for their mages. In DA:O, DA:2, and all extended material. Then suddenly BioWare I guess realized they were a good example of why templars are not necessary, and decided to create a new rule that “Dalish only have 3 mages in a clan at once.” THIS IS COMPLETELY UNPRECEDENTED AND IN MY OPINION IS EXTREMELY SLOPPY WRITING.
I should really make a post collecting everything about this.

“I loved you in the morning; Our kisses deep and warm. Your hair upon the pillow, like a sleepy, golden storm”
for anon! 😄 A step by step process of this, and the previous sketch will be available at my patreon on july 1st

A Graphic Novel based on Admiration story by @john-cousland
Updates on Wednesdays / Sundays
Oooh, awesome prompt! Thank you! I’ll go with the Origins crew on this one 🙂
If Origins companions had blogs
Alistair: Reblogs memes, gifs, and writes ridiculous jokes about his daily life. He has a loyal following of friends and people who share his sense of humor. He has around 500 followers at last count, but it’s steadily growing.
Sten: Posts pictures of cookies he intends to eat. Occasionally throws in an intense post about the virtues of the Qun. He has exactly five followers; one is the Warden and the other four are bakers.
Oghren: Posts his YouTube reviews of the liquors he tries, including “beer from the bottom of a discarded keg” and “moonshine I found in the woods.” He also posts the filthiest jokes he can find. He has 50,000 followers.
Morrigan: Has an interesting but mildly pretentious Instagram account where she posts pictures of spells in progress, ancient books she’s reading, and artifacts that interest her. Occasionally a piece of jewelry sneaks in. She has 400 followers and does not particularly want more. She also quickly blocks anyone who asks her a stupid question.
Leliana: Has a gorgeous lifestyle blog filled with flowers, fashion, music, and beautiful essays on forgiveness and compassion. Her style and sweetness have earned her 65,000 followers and a book deal in the works.
Wynne: Has a personal blog where she gently offers advice to her family and friends under the guise of discussing a hypothetical scenario. They pretend to be annoyed but actually value her wisdom. She has 200 very loyal followers; it will go up to over 10,000 after Leliana recruits her to write an advice column.
Zevran: Runs a body positivity Instagram account that’s half shirtless pictures of him, and half photos celebrating men and women of all shapes and sizes. He broke 100k followers in the first week.

Day 901 – Seeing so much Mulan lately, it made me realise I gave Ava a cathartic hair-cutting moment in her back story as well. While recovering from the disastrous events at Ostagar in the Korcari Wilds, she comes to terms with what being a Warden (THE Warden) means and decides to step away from who she was before. She says it’s to keep her hair out of her eyes while fighting, and to keep their cover while they’re on the run, but in truth it’s a way to remind herself that that part of her life is really over. She is no longer the girl who had a family to come home to. Now all that’s left is to move forward.
Made myself sad there woops!
